:stoned I watched 'Fight Club' for the 1st time last night

I must be the only person on GFY that still hadn't watched it lol. I had been wanting to watch it for years, but something always went wrong. Last night I finally got a chance to watch it, and WOW.

But you know, the most interesting thing is that of all the info, reviews and comments that I read on the interweb throughout the years, NONE of them were a spoiler! And it's so easy to spoil this movie, it's not even funny. So really the last part of the movie hit me as hard as if I had watched it in 1999.

I can't really say Fight Club was a life changing experience for me (of which I read alot about) though I have to say I do have a strange 'don't care' attitude today... and this movie is really stuck in my head. Today I spent a considerable amount of time thinking about it, all the things that now make sense, the many pieces of the puzzle slowly fitting together. I have to watch it again, maybe tonight while this is still fresh in my head.

I guess this movie's plot is like Fight Club itself:
1st rule is you do not talk about it.
2nd rule is you DO NOT talk about it.

Definitely a great movie... but a few too many people think it's their new bible. It's still just a movie... even if it's a very good one.

You know, although there's literally only one chick in this movie, it's surprisingly not gay.

One of the reasons why I had never watched it before is because I always had a 'more looks than acting' idea of Brad Pitt.

All silly reasons to miss out on a great movie.

when you watch it the second time you'll start to pick up on more things. Tyler pops into some of the scenes very early for like a blink of the eye. I didn't catch that the first time I watched it in a theater.

There are also frames of hard cocks and porn in there. My best friend did the soundtrack for the movie and he said there are all sorts of bizarre subliminal things going on.

Actually it is pretty darn gay but that is part of the point of the movie but to say it is not gay is just plain gay anyway so why worry about it unless you are worried that people would think you are gay... what's the deal? You weren't worried that seeing a Brad Pitt movie would make you gay were you? We don't care if you like to look at Ikea catalogs and decide what color scheme is going to work for your kitchen... because reading Ikea catalogs is definitely not gay...
