Im hoping someone can help me out with this. I recently saw the movie zodiac and I have a HUGE doubt. The story takes place in San Francisco, I believe, from 1969 to the 1980s. However, when I was growing up in NY during the early 90s I remember that there was a zodiac killer on the loose there. From what I saw in the movie the killer on the West Coast had absolutely nothing to do with the one in NY. The one in NY killed homeless people, the one in SF played some sort of game with the police that has nothing to do with the zodiac horoscope.

So were they 2 completely different serial killers or what?

Can someone who knows about this please enlighten me on this subject?

Is that sarcasm? I actually thought it was a bit too long and boring (especially since I was looking forward to hearing something about the killer in NY lol).

No it wasnt, im serious. I totally enjoyed that movie but i mentioned it because i noticed many people in the audience were bored as hell after 2 hours.
