Most reliable sports cars? (OWNERS INSIDE!)

Which sports cars are the most reliable? (i.e. few visits to the car shop and stuff)

Porsche is more reliable for a daily driver and always comes out top in initial quality (ie: fewest complaints) in the JD Power surveys.

Depends on what you consider reliable. Are we talking from a daily driver standpoint? How many miles per year do you plan to put on it?

Also, what price range are we talking about?

yes, daily driver. any price range... I heard that some high end italians are even less reliable although their price tag is astronomical...

Well, I would definitely NOT recommend a high-end exotic as a daily driver; the routine scheduled services and maintenance alone are extremely pricey (assume 5-figures every 10k miles). One of my friends has a newer Porsche 911 and another owns a BMW M3 and both have been very reliable as daily drivers over the past few years. As far as American sports cars, the GT500 Mustang, Ford GT, and Corvette Z06 should all be pretty reliable; not 100% sure about the reliability of a Viper as a daily driver, but it should be ok.

I've had six mustangs since 1995. Had my first problem about six months ago. All covered by the warrenty. No complaints.

My car does 0-60 in 4.2 seconds. Fast too.
