wtf? suspect faces criminal charges for the helicopter deaths

the guy that stole a car faces charges for the death of the people in the news helicopters covering the police chase

wtf? i can MAYBE see a case against a suspect in something that, when cops were going after them, a cop dies in an accident and the suspect is charged

but the fucking media? they dont need to be there, and thats another layer back, the air traffic controllers should have never let them on the scene if they felt there was any danger

for those that dont know

It sucks that they died, but the fact is that the pilots just weren't paying attention and both trying the get the best shot. This can't be blamed on the criminal they were going after. That would be like if some reporter jumped in the middle of the chase in his car and then ended up wrecking. How can you blame someone for the media being idiots?

why do you say that? i think the area where they crashed was within 5-6 miles from sky harbor airport, wouldn't that fall under the range of the air traffic controllers? i dont know, you seem to know more than we do

Will never stick it's a BS charge to play hype to the media. News crews shouldn't even be allowed to trail that kinda stuff anyway. IMO they put the police's lives in danger.

Maybe the criminal should file a law suit on the media networks that are basically profiting off of his arrest.

Police Chief Jack Harris is an idiot for having muttered this...

Quote:
"I think he will be held responsible for any of the deaths from this tragedy.."
He's not a lawyer/prosecutor and needs to keep his mouth shut.

He'll be trying to charge an arsonist for injury to firemen who fall down a pole in the fire station next *lol*

There are plenty good cops out there, but some of them are amazing when you look at their backgrounds - totally unfit to be Sherriffs or Police Chiefs. Last Sherriff I met could hardly stay sober, but, he was "popular" *lol*

Moral of the story:

Don't "streak" across the baseball field because the goodyear blimp may go down like the Hindenburg after zooming in on your enormous cock and you will be charged with 178 counts of murder..

All so white america can watch another black man getting chased by the cops. There was a similar case not too long ago where a police officer responding to some crime that was 30 miles away ended up crashing into the back of a semi, killing himself. They charged the criminal 30 miles away with 2nd degree murder or something like that.

it would seem pretty simple to me. the FAA is going to do an investigation of the crash and determine the cause. They are obviously NOT going to determine the cuase of the crash as being "some guy driving a white truck"

they will most likely determine that both pilots were negligent. once that happens, how does a prosecutor say the driver was responsible?

Firemen or police getting killed during a crime then of course they can charge the guy with their deaths. Same as if the guy caused a wreck while in his high speed chase or killed an innocent bystander.

I however don't think charges will stick on the deaths of people in helicopters trying to get the latest scoop on a story. The News guys put their own lives in danger when they decided to involve themselves in a high speed pursuit.

That's like trying to say it's the US military's fault a reporter gets killed in baghdad.

Well the worse case in the news is the 2 TEN YEAR OLD boys being prosecuted for sexual assault for butt-slapping some girls in the school hallway. If convicted they could get 10 years in prison, and be on the sex offenders list for life. For butt-slapping, which the girls say they do too sometimes and it's no big deal.

THATS a prosecutor who is out of touch with reality for you.

There was a story out of Florida recently where two negroes robbed a Subway. A retired marine with a concealed weapons permit was having dinner there and shot them after they threatened him with a gun. One was dead right away, the other in a coma. Police said the comatose negro would be charged with first degree murder of his buddy, if he survived. No charges against the marine.
