What software/script/method do you use for 2257 management

friggen records & docs management is such a fucking huge task because fuckers want it cross referenced 4 different ways... and takes hours & hours to document it all in tabulated data... so, tools were developed to make this task easier.. What method do you use?

This would be so damn simple if they would just allow a file of documents listed by performer name, but nope.. gotta cross X 4 times..

$800 puchase + $468 per year maintenance?
Seems a bit excessive & IMO is priced according to high demand & lack of competitive sources

I know a lot of the big boys in online adult are using the MAS/MPA3 2257 module. It was developed with the help of several large adult companies, along with several industry attorneys looking over their shoulder.

And even though the only thing big about me is my nose, I went ahead and dropped $4,000 on that, along with a few hundred man hours worth of data entry and organization, and got myself into compliance when shit started hitting the fan with the 2257 muck-a-muck.

Seriously! 2257 has now become a MAJOR part of doing business in this industry.

Expect it to cost you money, and expect it to continue costing you money and time each and every month.

It's now a common necessary business expense, right along with hosting and content....

I like to use a paper bag from McDonalds for record keeping.

We usually stop there on the way to the shoot so I just grad a few doublecheese burg wrappers.

I'm originally from the DVD industry, we've felt the 2257 sting for YEARS Its not so bad staying on top of it if you make your producers follow your 2257 formats from the start and organize content as it comes in

Hi there Spacedog,

I would like to offer you the opportunity to have a one on one live demonstration of our professional software solution ZEI2257 (zei2257.com) which addresses your 2257 record-keeping requirements.

I think you?ll be pleasantly surprised at how simple we?ve made it for you to keep records, the program has all the features and benefits that are required, including the compulsory cross referencing you mention in your post.

Just to let you know, many industry leaders such as Hustler, Metro Interactive, Danni.com, Naughty America and many other organizations of various sizes and specialties are utilizing our powerful record keeping solution.

We have tried to keep our pricing as low as possible, but the system is comprised of a number of rich features such as on-the-fly document scanning, a reporting system that is capable of exporting information to Excel, Word and PDF plus many other benefits that simply cost a great deal in time and money to develop.

Also, please be advised that some of the ?cheaper? solutions on the market DO NOT even use a database system to maintain their records. In fact one product actually uses Macromedia Director as its engine and a text file for storing data.

One of the most important factors to keep in mind when selecting a record-keeping system is its long-term use. You must maintain these records for a period of up to 7 years from the date of use, even if you remove the content from your website!

I look forward to hearing from you, I can be contacted via email at [email protected] to arrange your demonstration.

Kind regards

Jerusha

You get what you pay for.
ZEI2257 is a top-notch product with great support.
Compared with some of the other expenses that the 2257 changes have caused - in terms of office space for those who used to work out of their homes, computers for record keeping and that office space, and man-hours required to stay in compliance, ALL of this 2257 bullshit is costing most companies (and small operators) a lot more than $800 and a maintenance fee.

And while I'm not a lawyer or pretending to be one - I think it's fair to say that anyone who's done business with the Flynt people knows that if their attorneys chose ZEI2257 as their compliant solution - knows that it's withstood some of the most rigorous legal scrutiny in our industry.

Does zei2257 cross reference urls with the model documents? Do you have to enter in the urls or can it scan/spider your server like another script I've seen mentioned on here?

Anything out there that is inexpensive, simple and easy to use for secondary producers, i.e. free site webmasters using licensed content?
