Large files broken up by fat32 file system- HELP - GoFuckYourself.com

Hello,

I was ripping some movies with DVD Shrink to .ISO

I did not realize that the drive I was ripping them to was a fat32 file system.

Later... when I looked.... they are broken up into about 6-7 files... 1gb or less.

Does anyone know an easy and efficient way to join/connect them?

To make one file?

or - if they are separated out at file manager level, open a dos window and
do this

copy file1.ext+file2.ext+file3.ext+file4.ext fullfile.ext

Basically should concatenate all the parts to fullfile.exe

WOJ---> Because I mailed back the movies to a friend overseas....

They were British movies that I can not easily get again.

Please advise.

create a partition on your drive. make it fat32. put your movies on that partition. then convert that partition back to ntfs, should convert the movies.... I think you can do that? I'm no expert on this stuff, only dealt with it a couple of times. anyway, google fat32 to ntfs conversions and I think you'll find your answer.

You can rerun DVDShrink on them, turn off the checkbox for 'create multiple VOBs of X size, and re-author the disc.

Keep in mind that you'll likely have to save out to an NTFS filesystem; FAT32 has a maximum size of 4GB
