their homepage says them are made for the adult industry... then immediately below that it shows an AMEX logo.... amex doesnt take adult and everyone knows this.... aside from maybe these guys that 'specialize' in adult payment processing. ;)

This to me is a redflag...

> Zombaio offers a billing solution for your adult entertinment website,
> including VISA, MasterCard, American Express, JCB credit cards and EC
> Carte.

Amex doesn't process adult.

That too is a redflag, last I checked, it takes Visa a lot longer than an hour to approve a site.

I emailed them:

Normally your site is approved within an hour. Right now we have a peak ant the accounting dep. has a queue of requests for up to 48 hours.

If Amex accept their cards on a adult site or not depends on the content of your site. You can apply for Amex but we can not guarantee you that you will be able to accept amex.

However, Bondage, Fetish and Hardcore site is always rejected from Amex processing!
What is the companies history?
Zombaio had some years developing the platform, and the official platform release was in December 2006.

Despite the fact that we are a newly established company within this industry, we have more than 9 years of experience of the banking world. Originally, our two founders come from RBS (Royal Bank of Scotland) where they were responsible for structuring the pay platform that today is one of the world's 5 largest platforms. Naturally, we have full redundancy in the systems, whose sites are located in Stockholm (Sweden), Frankfurt (Germany) and Mountain View (CA, USA).

The company started in Basingstoke, United Kingdom in 2003. We started a Swedish division in 2005 and an US division in 2007.

Both the company and the platform are Visa and MasterCard PCI DSS certified by TrustWave.

Our aim is to continue to provide services that are firmly established in the market based on the latest technology. Zombaio takes an offencive role in the market offering daily payouts, anti fraud insurance and marketable processing prices.

The daily payouts are nice....

Interesting - Bank Of Scotland do have a history of operating in some of the more 'interesting' markets - pre-paid cards etc

And they are a massive company - no probs at all with them..

I LOVE the daily payouts..

The 2 founders used to work at the RBS. That doesn't really mean anything.
It's not part of RBS.

It is an outfit that test security of the PCI on the servers ...

Some processors ask that. some not.

When I setup a moneris merchant account for a client, I had to get the server approved by Trustkeeper.net ...
When I setup a PSIgate merchant account, they never asked for any test ... or they did it in the background ...
