Partnership or Pay Per Sign Up?
When you go with a sponsor, which do you go with and why?
For me, Ive gone PPS for a long time, but am beginning to wonder how much more would I be making if I had went partnership on some of those links, lets say two years ago. two years is a good amount of time for rebills to start overlapping. Starting up I wanted the money up front, but now I am thinking more long term and would like more recurring,... whats your experience been?

i think it all depends on the sites... for programs who have "18 for 1" or "all access sites" i usually go with partnership.... for programs that offer single sites I usually go PPS...

90% of sponsors i use nowdays is recurring... i ALWAYS earn more this way in the end. I only use no trial revshare programs.
It's not unusual the signups is worth an average of $60+ for certain revshare sponsors. So why sell the signups for $40 or $35 then... |

If it is a big sponsor I tend to go for PPS and then save the revshare for my ccbill sponsors.

If its a site that looks like it has good content, network access, and updates I go rev share all day (how i prefer). If the sites are cookie cutter or use the same content as everyone esle I make PPS. I like rev share way better than PPS programs in overall #s.

depends on the site. some are better with PPS because they can't retain. some retain FOREVER and you would make much more money with a partnership.

I think it also depends on the sponsor, it's perfectly ok to ask a sponsor for a day pass to the site(s) you're looking to promote. although they might ask to see your traffic source.
With that being said I believe the more niched the sites are the better the retention is, if the sponsor updates that particular site of course. And for the shameless plug, our retention is insane, we update virtually everyday with all exclusive content in the niche that the surfer signed up for. We all love long term money I think.
