Partial Story: PALMETTO BAY, Fla. -- Washington Redskins star safety Sean Taylor was shot at his home Monday and was in critical condition, and police are investigating a possible robbery. Officers were sent to Taylor's home at about 1:45 a.m. after his girlfriend called 911 and said he was shot in his lower body, Lt. Nancy Perez said. He was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital, she said, but did not disclose how many times he was shot. (full story linked) |

That's very unfortunate.
Hope they find out who did it and hope he recovers. From their description of him being shot in the groin and the girlfriend calling 911 it makes you question whether it was a robbery or maybe the gf?

he really is an "impact player" When he's in there the opposing team's receivers truly fear going over the middle.
Foxsports says that somebody actually went into his bedroom and shot twice so I'm wondering if it really was a robbery and not some ganster shit... He DID go to the Miami U Hurricon's and doesn't exactly have a bright and sunny background.

This is truly tragic.
He turned his life around and has become on the best players in the NFL, Sports Ilustrated named him the second best player in the NFL under 25. God bless him and his family.
