Say Goodbye to Venezuala!

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20071130/...nezuela_oil_dc

I am against the war in Iraq and the US continued policy to police or force democracy upon any country, but if you make me pay more at the pump, you are going to get your crum crushed....

I'm confused, clarify something for me:

So let me get this straight, you dont like what we are doing in Iraq, or 'force democracy' but if Chavez makes it so your gas prices go up then you encourage something happening to him?

or are you saying....

that the if U.S. interferes in Venezuala's election your basically threatening the U.S.?

Here are my answers to both just in case

A) Go fuck yourself if the only war you support is one if the reason directly effects you in some way. Who died and made you god?

B) Has there been any indication that the U.S. is going to interfere with Venzuala's 'reform bill'. Has there been anything on the news or anywhere? The reason the paranoid Chavez is able to manipuate his way into a dictatorship is because stupid fucks like you believe everything he says.

Only one of these responses are correct, take your pick, either way go fuck yourself.

you are a dumb fucking idiot... what i was saying is that although i dont support war, i also dont support the currect trend of leaders of foreign countries making themselves dictators and going against their countries constitutions. it is happening in pakistan, venezuala, and russia, and a few more countries... leaders are deciding that they can rule indefinately at their own whim... i have a huge probelm with this... for obvious reasons...

i assume you have a hgh school education at best and have no more undestanding of foreign affairs as you do about human hygeine...

stick to trying to make a living in this industry (which i doubt you will ever do) and leave the intelligent conversations to those that have some type of knowledge of foreign affairs...

and finally, the best service you could do fofr the world is to stick a loaded gun in your mouth and pull the trigger... we dont need any more stupidity in the world than we already have...

it frightens me that people like you may someday breed....

... Chavez is a crazy beaner who's looking for a fight (I personally enjoy his performances whenever he speaks in public...cracks me up!), but if the time comes when the US has to take him out, then the same thing that happened to Noriega (Panama) will happen to him........

just cause you are the us with this huge army doesn't mean you can invade any country. how would you feel if another country invaded the us just cause they didn't see it the way the us does or disagreed with your way of life.

CIA Venezuela Destabilization Memo Surfaces

On November 26, 2007 the Venezuelan government broadcast and circulated a confidential memo from the US embassy to the CIA which is devastatingly revealing of US clandestine operations and which will influence the referendum this Sunday, December 2, 2007.

The memo sent by an embassy official, Michael Middleton Steere, was addressed to the Director of Central Intelligence, Michael Hayden. The memo was entitled 'Advancing to the Last Phase of Operation Pincer' and updates the activity by a CIA unit with the acronym 'HUMINT' (Human Intelligence) which is engaged in clandestine action to destabilize the forth-coming referendum and coordinate the civil military overthrow of the elected Chavez government.

Honestly if they had the military to do it then well guess them the knocks we would take.

Then again if you ask some Mexico is doing a pretty good invasion job.

Though I am against war and I find the Venezuala dude funny as hell and I love how much he hates Bush. If I do recall he has brought in cheap oil to certain locations of the US during cold snaps when people were dieing from freezing to death, just as a special FU to the Bush Government.

Now may I suggest if you do not like the high oil/gas prices. Sell your car and buy something either more fuel effecient, find some ways to offset fuel costs, or find a way to earn more money so that your last care on this planet is how much it costs you at the pump.

well first let me apologize for my response to your post... sometimes emotions get the best of our intelligence...

to clarify, my original post was somewhat satirical... but what i ultimately mean is that i am fed up with other countries like russia\, pakistan, venezuala, etc trying to create dictatorships and continue their power and going against the terms of office their prospective countries have voted for, accepted, and adopted...

i think putin, chavez, mushareff are trying to justify defying the peoples true wants through propaganda...

i truly believe that the world is headed towards instability due to the above mentioned issues.... and instability leads to confilct...

i want to be perfectly clear here and not try to imply that the US is some sort of saint or saviour in all this... but i honestly believe that in times to come, whether in this millenium or next, the US, Europe, China, and Russia will go to war over finite natural resources... regardless of energy saving measures at this point, we are too late... nothing can save us... it is going to come down to fighting for what natural resources are ;left....

thats how i feel and in ,my opinion and based on my research of the topic, is a more of a definate than just some sort of imagined illusion...

if you want to debate, then debat, but dont use intelligent rhetoric instead of personal attacks or profanity...

i apologize for doing the above to others...

Most likely we are going to bomb Sudan first. The media is really demonizing the people there recently. Just look at that bogus teddy bear story

You can usually predict world events by who the media is currently demonizing.

They also have Hollywood stars like George Clooney making movies about the situation in Darfur.

Perhaps they take care of Sudan first and then they will take out Iran. Then they go for Chavez.

I have to apologize as well there, With all the U.S. attacks that happen on this board, your original statement was a bit confusing to me and i took it as another attack. Your clarification of your statement makes sense now.

How entertaining this thread is.

If the US could not do anything in Cuba, what makes them think they have influence in the V?

I think everyone can agree that GW is not real bright, but if you really believe he is planning to remain in power after 2008 you make him look like a Mensa scholar.

I hope gas does go to $10/gallon in the states. Maybe we will get serious about alternative energy and renewable energy resources, and not be at the mercy of every towel head and crazy dictator sitting on lucky real estate.

And totally agree ... he has no clue on fiscal issues, screwed the US substantially on many levels - not just economically, bumbles his way thru diatribes of rhetoric on a daily basis, changes laws perverting the constitution, hides behind the justice system and knowingly engages in a regime of torture, supports dictators when it suits him, spies on US citizens and plenty more.

In effect, he has achieved the aura of Germany between 1930-36, but you would not know this.

Chavez and Venezuela are none of your biz - the above issues are more relevant and close to home.......

Define 'real news'. Your American mainstream media spouts nothing but propaganda about Chavez, so you won't get it from them.

Quote:
The Guardian 28 November, 2007
Coup d?état rumblings in Venezuela

Stephen Lendman*

The Bush administration tried and failed on three previous occasions to oust Hugo Chávez since its first aborted two-day coup in April, 2002. Since he took office in February, 1999, and especially after George Bush?s election, Chávez has been a US target. Credible sources now point to a new plot to assassinate him. The CIA and other foreign secret service operatives (including anti-Castro terrorists) aim to destabilise the Chávez government by using "at least three concrete plans" to destroy the country?s social democracy and kill Chávez.
Quote:
US corporate media on the attack

On November 12, The Venezuela Information Office (VIO) reported that growing numbers of "US print newspapers lodged attacks against Venezuela" using "outdated cold-war generalisations" and without explaining any of the proposed democratic changes. Among others, they came from the Houston Chronicle that claimed Constitutional reforms will "eliminate the vestiges of democracy" in Venezuela when, in fact, they?ll strengthen it, and that the people will vote them in or out.

It said that Chávez controls the electoral system when, in fact, Venezuela is a model free, fair and open democracy that shames its US equivalent. The Chronicle also falsely said reforms will strip people of their right to due process. In fact, that is guaranteed under article 337 and that won?t be changed.

The Los Angeles Times wrote editorially, comparing Chávez to Bin Laden. It compounded that whopper by claiming reforms will cause a global recession due to higher oil prices that, of course, have nothing to do with changes in law. The LA Times inverted the truth by falsely claiming a public majority opposes reforms.

Rupert Murdoch?s Wall Street Journal weighed in as well with its lead anti-Chávez attack dog and all-round character assassin extraordinaire, Mary Anastasia O?Grady.

Like most of her other articles, this one drips with vitriol and outrageous distortions like calling Chávez a "dictator" when, in fact, he?s a model democrat.

Once again, she?s on a rampage, but that?s her job. She claims Chávez is a "demagogue," waging "class warfare," and that increased opposition to reform "has led to increased speculation that (his) days are numbered."

The Forbes magazine, not to be outdone, talks in an article about "Latin Sinkholes," and that Cuba is the largest open-air prison in the Americas. "His [Chávez?s], revolution?s enemy is the marketplace." The journalist cites a World Bank report saying "Venezuela is tied with Zimbabwe as this year?s champion in smothering economic freedom."

In fact, Venezuela and Argentina have the highest growth rates in the region and are near the top of world rankings in recent years. Following the devastating oil management 2002-03 lockout, Venezuela?s economy took off and grew at double-digit rates in 2004, 2005 and 2006 and will grow a likely 8 percent this year.

There is a lot more criticism like this throughout the dominant media along with commentators calling Chávez "a dictator, another Hitler and a threat to democracy." This type of media assault is part of a prelude to what often follows ? attempted regime change.
