What % of affiliate webmasters never actually sell anything?

I have about 30 webmasters signed up under me on various ccbill sites. I have 6 with mayors money, 8 with Naughty Bank and 1 or 2 with a ton of other programs.

The total sales of all of these webmasters so far in 2007 resulted in $4.50 in commission for camgirlshide.com

So, I ask - what % of webmasters sign up to become affiliates and then never actually sell anything. And then of course the better question, why do they do they do this?

8 out of 10 never sends even 1 signup.
6 out of 10 never sends one hit.
2 out of 10 doesn't even bother to login.

some of the programs i signup to, the only ones i dont send traffic too, because their banners suck, their hosted content blows, and their paysites stink.

Why do they not sell anything? I'm sure some of them are sending traffic, no? Just because one sends traffic doesn't mean they are going to convert. I make about $30 a month on 1k unique of traffic a day to my solo girl blog.

That sounds about right. A lot that I've found say they have this and that but once you signup and check their back-end out they don't have what they say they have and I lose interest and that's that. Of course, there's many other reasons one would decide to not promote the sponsor after signing up.

i agree, i think if you just sig whoring or have a link out there and don't work with the affiliate one on one, it will take you at least 100 to signup for you to get one that will actually make more than $50 a week. Unless you get really lucky.
