So Fucking Banned

![]() So I run to Wal-Mart tonight to pickup the following:
1 package of hamburger buns 1 jar of bread and butter pickles 1 box of dishwasher juice 8 gallons of water 1 onion 1 package of organic free-range eggs 1 thing of organic butter Oklahoma, for those unaware, has been hit with a pretty bad ice storm these last couple of days. We are having freezing rain right now as I write this. And the whether morons who are wrong 95% of the time, have been warning about this for days. And then it hit other areas around us and they reported on the damage and added "this is coming to OKC metro area next". Keeping this in mind, why did I go to Wal-Mart and find the whole store ransacked, the bread isle empty, no bottled water and no eggs (even the organic ones that cost $3.59 a dozen were sold out), along with a completely bare soup isle and almost no fucking meat? To humor myself, I went to automotive, and predictably all the ice scrapers were sold out as were all the bottles of de-icer windshield juice and anything that might possibly be used to de-ice a car window. Also selling nicely were bottles of HEET and other fuel additives to prevent fuel line freezes. What the fuck? Was there a nuclear war declared that I didn't hear about it? Are the Ruskiess fueling thier missles? Is it the end of the world as we know it? No, of course it isn't. Its just another example of human stupidity on display at its finest. Plan the fuck ahead, people. Never mind the fact that an ice storm is not all that unusual here, we had several last year, several the year before, several the year before that, etc, etc. You'd think that as the leaves start to dry and fall off the trees, people would buy winter supplies: bug juice, ice melt, food... but they don't. They wait until the storm is actually there, then they all run to Wal-Mart when the roads are shitty (causing all kinds of accidents) to buy stuff they should have had on hand a long time ago. I think next summer, I am gonna buy a pallet of ice scrapers, a few pallets of ice melt and shit like that, and as soon as the other stores sell out, I am gonna set up on the side of the road and jack the price up about 4 times what the normal retail is. Fucking people deserve it. Sales of ice melt I can kind of understand... its a consumable product. But an ice scraper, hell, it lasts forever. What happened to the ice scraper they used last year? There could not possibly have been that many new cars sold this year that warrants a run on ice scrapers like this. And why didn't they keep their ice scraper from their last car? When I sell a car, the ice scraper stays with me along with the full size spare tire (they have have the worthless fucking dough nut that the factory put with it) and the floor jack. Is there a ring of ice scraper thieves stealing all of the ice scrapers? Do they need a new one every year because its the cool thing to do? And if you do need an ice scraper, you don't wait until the storm comes to get one... so that you can put everyone at risk as you try to peer through that little hole in the ice you made with your fingernails trying to see as you hunt around town to find an ice scraper that some other idiot just like you hasn't bought yet. What the fuck is wrong with people? I can see how Katrina became such a nightmare. People are too goddamn lazy to do anything at all that might make them able to live for three days without the government catering to them and providing for their every need. I always have probably a month's worth of food and two weeks worth of water here. I bought a years worth of ice melt back in September. I have six or eight cases of fucking bug juice around here, I buy it when its on sale and I go through a good case a month. |

You shop at WalMart? How fucking un-American. Why not just hand your checking account over to the Chinese?
Like to see someone run some tests on their 'organic' products as well. |

Well, I could either shop at Homeland or Albertsons for groceries. Both big chains, both employ spics and both treat their employees like shit. I hate Wal-Mart and I buy from them as little as possible. There is little choice for some thing. I buy my meat from a local butcher and have alot of organic non-perishable food shipped in from family farms. Hard to find sources that will ship stuff at reasonable prices.

I try to stay the hell away from Florida. The old people annoy me with how they drive so damn slow. Believe it or not, people in Oklahoma drive pretty good... they move right along... even in an ice storm...

Carry on...

Many people are naturally prone to disaster-syndrome.
I've seen people prior to hurricanes here buy up 25 extra sets of tire irons and shit like that before a storm. No idea why. Seems to be a mentality which says, "I better clean out my bank account and buy EVERYTHING in site. After all, someone before me bought all the hamburger buns and I may need to barter a tire iron if the authorities don't get this shit put back together before we all die." |

WTF is organic butter?
is it something like safer bullets? And there is no way you would know the difference between free range eggs and cooped up chicken eggs. I know, the chickens weren't tortured right? |

If that were true, you wouldn't buy from them at all.
