![]() Figured I'd pick myself up a Blackberry 8310 yesterday... which I now absolutely love, but I opted to port my number over to the new phone and I'm having a weird problem. My old phone still receives some text messages, and all phone calls go to it as well.
I haven't received a single call on the new phone yet. Any idea why the Blackberry will receive some txt's, but not all of them? Is there any sort of manual approval process that has to take place at the previous carrier in order for the transfer to happen? Could it be that the holiday is causing a delay? It's been about 26 hours since I purchased the phone. They said it the port would only take 2.5 hours. |

xenigo, I ported a number about 3 months ago and it was almost instant and seamless. Everything worked, although my phone is just a basic phone.
I cannot offer you advice, but if you Google "Howard Forums" it will link you to a site that is full of tons of information, and the forums are very active. You should get a reply to your situation should you post in their forums about it in short notice. |
