Blackberry Owners Does This Happen To You?

I have owned a BB for quite a while, when you are sitting beside any speakers and if your BB receives an e-mail do you hear like a beeping coming from the speakers. Almost like a morse code kind of pulsing? I know it's just data transfer but jesus it can become annoying. I was at my lawyer's the other day and he had a clock radio right beside his desk... It was midday and I was getting a ton of e-mails coming in and man did that clock radio ever pick it up and it was going off like nuts LOL!

Does this happen to anyone else or is it just me?

DH

Happens with about any cell phone I've owned in the last few years. Sometimes even when there's not a message or calling coming into it. Speakers nearby will just start buzzing a bit. Move the phone away from it and it stops.

And of course there's nothing you can't find out about on the Internet..

Yes, it happens all the time. Its your BB that's connecting to the mail server to check for new messages (email and text messages). You'll also hear a slight buzz sound about 3-5 seconds before you receive a phone call too. Digital inteferences between the BB and your speakers.

It happens all the time with cell phones. One hotel I stay in the sound would play over the house phones. Very annoying.
