I can't recall ever seeing a State of the Union with such division on the floor.

A smaller group giving standing ovations while it seems the majority are just staring blankly at him, withholding most applause.

Talking about moving beyond the divisive (pronounced "de-vee-sive," mind you ) aspects of stem cell research now that we don't have to use fetuses...

Good stuff there. I'd be applauding that point, if present.
