hey dicks and dickettes, im the previous owner of freeporn.com i gave it away to a homeless guy a few months ago as reported on dnjournal

after not much luck with snobby mainstream boards

im working on a mainstream project and was going to see if any of the old porn peeps happen to have delved into mainstream adsense, channels, txt vs. display ads, CTR, eCPM, etc..

its a huge opprtunity on a giant mainstream domain similar to collegehumor etc

I know which mainstream forums you are talking about, you won't find any answers on them except people trying to sell you scripts/ebooks or indians who will submit your site to 2000 directories for a penny.

I assume you are referring to bored.com? I use to run sites with the same traffic demographic. Adsense and YPN did well for us at 1 point but it all seems to have gone downhill. Besides having to worry about your account cancelled for "invalid clicks", the earnings per click was just crap. Unless you are in a high paying niche or have tons and tons of traffic(even if its a low paying niche like myspace, humour) - you are not gonna make the big bucks.

Best thing to do is diversify your earnings between adsense/ypn, CPM(tribalfusion or valueclick), private ad sales, and mainstream affiliate programs. You can also check out gorillanation if you have the traffic.
