Saw it on manswers last week. Tried it out this weekend. Worked like a charm. I woke up feeling amazing.

Trick is you need to drink the pear juice a few hours before you go out or before your first drink.

It's these things, not actual pears. I don't imagine they are that easy to find in the grocery store.

Drink a full glass of water after drinking (before you pass out) works really great too. Always has for me anyway.

Can't hurt to add the pear juice to the equation though, I'm sure it's good for you.

I wonder how pear juice will taste with vodka and a little soda water....

Drinking few cups of anything, even water, before going to bed will make the hangover pretty reasonable... unless you get REALLY drunk, then you are fucked no matter what...

I've even got a preventative measure for that.

Drink 1-2 glasses of water before going to sleep, but take one Tylenol with it. Just one*.

*And it's not good to do this too often, it's too hard on your liver if overdone. Once in a while is okay.

Most beverages with high amounts of B complex vitamins will do the same thing.

My personal beverage of choice, in this regard, is a hefeweizen... I typically always try to work a couple into any heavy drinking night.

I've been using the Chaser anti-hangover pills for a while. I recently switched to the less expensive Sobr'K Hangover Stoppers.

Both brands of pills are just activated carbon (charcoal). I usually pop two when I start drinking and then a few more over the night.

The few times I've forgotten to bring/take the pills I've had a miserable hangover. With the charcoal pills I just feel a bit tired.

Your crap will be black the next day but that's all part of the fun.
