![]() If you are so stupid (or so unwary) as to have ever registered domains with these asswipes then please take note of this.
If your domain ever expires, and you do not renew it in time, it may cost you almost $200 to reclaim it. Secondly, even if you do not want to pay the reclamation fee, your domain will be re-registered and held by them (eNom) for an indefinite period of time. They have tied up many valuable domains for years in this way. If your current registrar offers any type of "backorder" system on expired domains, you should check first if the old registration was through eNom. If it is currently registered through eNom in any way, there is no point in backordering it. Archer |

I thought that fee to reclaim a domain was common amongst most registrars.

Enon rocks, nothing to see here.
You failed to pay your bill, you didnt have auto-renew on, a free feature, you didnt monitor your email to see it expired, you didnt check in time to use the free grace period.. now you want to shit on a company cuz they did you a favor and give you an opportunity to acquire what you lost back for a small fee of $200 or would have been gone 4ever with no chance in hell to get if it had any value.. TSK TSK ENOM ROCKS

I wouldn't go as far to say Enom rocks.
I personally love how they sell whois protection and at the first sign of trouble they strip it from your domains. Gotta love it!

eNom blows dead German shepherds. They also overcharged for ICANN fees and made it near impossible to get your refund. Sure the money shows in your "account" but you can't actually use it for domain renewals or get it credited to your credit card. How is that different from theft? I called eNom and got the run around. For $5.79, they lost me as a customer FOREVER. eNom sucks the biggest domain dick that ever existed.
eNom fuckin' SUCKS!!! I moved all my domains to Moniker and I couldn't be happier! ![]()

The only rocks around her are the ones you are smoking. I used enom exclusively as a reseller and my own domains from 2001 until 2007. I finally left them after many MANY problems with their system. Anybody who thinks that enom rocks is clearly in need of mental help. |

I'm a reseller for Enom and have all of my domains there. I get the cheapest price they can offer resellers and I, in turn, pass that along to the consumer.
Neither I, nor my customers have ever had a problem. Matter of fact, I got one of these today.. Service Expire Date Description -------------------------------------------------------- Registration 04-23-2008 blahblahblah.com To renew these services do nothing. If you DO NOT want any of these services to auto-renew, please do the following: 1. Go to http://www.enom.com. 2. Login to your account. 3. Go to the domains and services you DO NOT wish to renew. 4. Go to the auto-renew settings for these domains and services. 5. Select the appropriate option to have the domains and services NOT automatically renew. 6. Save your changes. Remember, take no action and we will process the renewal order and attempt to extend the domains and services for you. Sincerely, eNom Partner Services Something is seriously fucked up on your end if "doing nothing" is too much effort! |

I had over 700 plus the ones registered through me.
MAJOR issues. The company was solid until Matt Stern left, then it went to shit. There have been several posts about horrible experiences with them from multiple GFY members. |

one interesting bit of text in that I don't see any evidence for, though is this Quote:

I thought $80 was the standard fee that most registrars charged to reclaim a domain if you accidentally let it expire? At least that is what Godaddy charges. $200 seems rather excessive...
