Mother of the year case developing in the UK
We has this big missing child case here that ran for a few weeks. The girl, Shannon, was found alive being hidden in a house that later turned out to be the uncle of step father. Something was clearly up when she was taken into State care straight away rather than returned directly to her parents. This week we have been getting drips that various members of her family have been taken into questioning.
Now, her mother has been taken in and charged with charges of child neglect and perverting the course of justice. Most of the other family members have also been questioned over perverting the course of justice too. The heavy hints is that is was a fake kidnapping to try to earn money. Apparently they even contacted the parents of Madeline McCaan and tried to get them to give them some money from the Madeline fund.
