German in Hollywood movies
Lately I recognized that many Hollywood productions use German in their movies. Is this a new trend or what? If I remember right at least three of the movies I watched the last few weeks had actors speaking German in them. Almost none of the movies in the last few years had that.

Been watching a lot of Vampire movies lately have you? j/k.
I haven't heard of this latest trend. Could you name the movies in question? These are movies that are brand new and in theaters or new on video? |

Did you consider the fact that maybe the last few movies you watched had German spoken in there somewhere because of a particular point in the plot or a matter of background of one or more of the characters in these particular movies rather than imagining that there is some "trend" of randomly inserting some sampling of German language into recent Hollywood movies just for the hell of it?
