Anyone been contacted by StoresOnline.com (trolling Verisign?)

We recently got some spam from this outfit StoresOnline.com (mailed, not emailed) inviting us to some bullshit 'webmaster seminar and dinner'.

"Internet Income Training" (as they call it).

It came addressed to me personally (with a typo that I recognized immediately as coming from my old NetSolution registry info) - in care of my company Kastle Archives.

Anyone heard of these clowns or been contacted via info from Netsol?

The wife and I are thinking of attending their little seminar and engaging in some shameless guerilla marketing until we get our asses kicked out after the dinner.

'I lost $7000': online scam victim speaks out

"I felt pressured towards the end because they said I could only get this special deal on that day, I had to buy it at the seminar otherwise it would cost an extra $3000."

Susan handed over more than $7000 for six websites and committed to a monthly service fee of $210, but her dream of business success quickly faded.
