Fashion Advice Needed: How do I dress for reception at NFL Owners Meeting?
I have been invited to a reception following the NFL Owners Meeting tomorrow. I will be meeting personally with Roger Goodell and some NFL Owners and the invitation says "Business Attire" for the reception. Does that mean a suit and tie? Slacks, Shirt and Blazer? Jeans and Affliction T-shirt?
I got a feeling I am dusting off my suit, huh? --T |

Formal = full suit
Business Casual = dress pants, shirt, blazer, no tie. Business attire i would say is closest to business casual so i'd go with the suit minus the tie. Let me know if you buy a NFL team ![]() WG

Go with a suit, I was a executive recruiter. If your hoping to do business better to be over dressed than under dressed. Also you look young so a suit is the way to go.

I say you can't go wrong with a suit in an event like that, it's not gonna hurt. Being under dressed for the occasion could hurt, though, just like tony404 said. And yes, I think "business attire" specified that way most likely means at least a tie along w/ the collared shirt, slacks etc. if you're gonna go that way.
