good place to register co.uk domain names?

Beware also. Some non UK registrars might ask you to renew your .co.uk domains a couple of months (can't remember the exact time period or wording) before they would normally expire.

This is not always clear when you register the domain.

ukreg.com do them for £2.95/year which is about $6.00/year. used them for years without any problems.

I can confirm that moniker don't do this

I had a nightmare trying to get a .co.uk away from Namesco, they were charging £15 ($30) a year and were just simply HORRIBLE. Worst registrar/company ever, I don't recommend using them for anything.

They even wanted to charge me a release fee, and have me fill in paperwork! Paperwork, to transfer a domain. Flipping mental
