searching text in images

I'm looking for a program that can search images for a certain text keyword, for example if the image has "Copyright GFY.com" at the left bottom corner of the image.

I'm talking about running it on my computer, not online.

is there anything like that you know of ? do these kind of programs have a common title ? "text in image search" or something ?

and i'm not talking about CAPTCHA , I don't want to extract random text out of the image, just search all images in a certain folder that have a certain text keyword in them

It's called OCR, it's been around for quite awhile, now. Most scanners have software that can do a really shitty job of this.

Good luck on finding anything that's remotely usable without training with 50,000 pictures.

I don't know if this is even possible without expensive, custom software and I don't know for sure if that would be an efficient way to do it. You'd be better off hiring some cheap human labor who had good manual dexterity and free time to look over folders full of thumbnails to separate the images with that criteria.
