Oh ya just sort of a geek and since we have such movies as Wanted, Watchmen (so hopeful yet feeling a possible let down), wolverine (bleh, ya hang me), wonder woman (bondage anyone), all very close on the horizon.

I'm still hoping someone will do a live action version of Marshall Law :-)
Honestly, depending on the comic, I'll even settle for a really good animated version. Marshall Law, Those Annoying Post Bros., Checkered Demon would make great indy animation films. I've been waiting over 10 years for someone to produce Michael Manning's The Spider Garden. |

Fucking Constantine was sacrelige. I mean fucking Keanu Reeves for fucks sake. That could have been such an awesome movie if done right. My favourite comic is Hellblazer.

They may win for special effects and stuff like that.... but generally comic book movies don't fare too well at the awards.

In my previous post, I was simply not referring to them... comic book movies, the super hero ones... the bottom shelf kids comics that turn movies, they don't fare too well at the awards usually. And they seem to be the primary focus of hollywood at the moment. |
