Recommend me a good movie

I already checked out the whole IMDB top 250. Anyone know some good movies that aren't in it? I really need some inspiration. I like every genre, from romantic to brainless action.

Btw, I checked out Perfume: The story of a Murderer yesterday. If you haven't seen it yet, go rent it. Great movie

For something different check out

" City of God " http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/City_of_God_(film)

It's so well done you will think you're watching a documentary

I was just going to recommend you something, but if you liked the Perfume, I guess my taste is different. That was one stupid movie, I so regret I saw it.

Yeah, me too.
I saw Forgetting Sarah Marshall few days ago and it was actually a good comedy, if you didn't see it.

I would recommend some really good films, but I'm afraid they'll be wasted on your lack of taste.

Perfume was just about the dumbest movie I ever saw, and I try to watch everything.

You've got to have a wild and sick imagination to like the movie. I love anything that doesn't relate to real life. Mmm, that does make me sound a bit depressed, doesn't it?

Anyway thanks for the recommendations so far guys. I'm going to try em all

I just watched The Painted Veil and really liked it. I had already read the book and was afraid I would hate the movie, but it was good.

The Machinist with Christan Bale is good, too. I usually throw that one in because it seems like nobody ever says they've seen it.
