How much sales should I make to increase my Partnership %?

Hello!

Just wonder how much sales should I make on average to have my partnership % increased from 50% to 55%-60% etc?
What policy regarding that Affiliate Programs have?

If I make about 30 sales per month - can I contact support to increase my percent? Or should I have 100 sales?

Anyone has experience in this subject?

100 sales+ per month and you can probably get abit higher, some sponsors have sliding scales. But usually you will have to send much more than 1 sale a day to be considered for a higher % at a quality revshare sponsor.

Jugasvili, check out TopBucks and WildWestCash

TopBucks pays 70% revshare, no minimums.
WildWestCash pays 50% revshare, no minimums. If you make 15+ sales in one pay period you'll get paid 55% revshare, 30+ sales - 60% revshare, 45+ sales - 65% revshare.

Contact the sponsor and ask. I know I am always up for hearing from people with good traffic looking to make possible deals. If it isn't doable at that time then they will certainly give you an idea of what level you would have to reach.

Contact your sponsor and find out. Also if your promoting a generic market & not a specific micro niche, shop about. There are hundreds of vanilla programs out there these days all competing for affiliate sales.

I personally prefer to be paid 50%. I think it's more than fair since all I do is use their tools to send traffic. I always feel like if I am getting one of those 70% crazy percentages then it might lead to the program "shaving" me. Not saying that it does...just saying that since it doesn't make any sense for them to give me 70% while they are making pennies...then they are forced to find a way to make their money. I've had plenty of programs offer me high percentages over the years, and some of them do pay me those higher percentages. But I always tell them that I would rather stay at 50/50 so everybody is happy and everybody makes money. A good program should be able to make you great money at 50/50 and with a lot less worry about shaving or cutting off your rebills down the road. If everybody is happy and everybody makes money...it's a win/win.

Is that with or without fees? I think 15% are deducted, so its "only" 55%.

At RewardThem you automaticly start increasing when you make more than $300 worth of sales (both new sales and rebills included) for a site in any given month period.

our scale is :
<300$ a month - you make 50%
>300$ a month - you make 55% on the amount above $300
>600$ a month - you make 60% on the amount above $600
>1000$ a month - you make 65% on the amount above $1000
>2000$ a month - you make 70% on the amount above $2000

So we're not only trying to reward you for number of sales, but also for the quality of your sales with including rebills into the scale.

I agree, i think 70-90% is just insane for payouts, unless the affiliate is innovative and really going that extra mile, but for a typical gallery submitter or tgp owner, I would be happy putting them at 40%

shit, how about that? a program that bases percentage of payout on a sliding scale based on quality of traffic? starting at 40% and going to 65-70%, taking all aspects of the joins into play, member retention, initial conversions, how much extra they require from you as the sponsor outside your typical tools, etc

dumbass me, didn't read this before posting

that is a really killer concept...can I ask, what is every factor you take into account when deciding the payout? what if the affiliate is annoying and asks for everything custom under the sun, does that count as points against the payout? what if they ask for custom tools, but have amazing ratios from using those tools, does that count as point for a higher payout?

I think that depends a lot on how it's done.. Personally I'm dropping programs when they start any $40+ pps, promos etc. because I often see those sites having funny stats, or feel like you that shaving is going on.. I'm playing it by "if it sounds too good to be true.."

At the same time, if you have a good affiliate sending nice amount and quality, you want to pay him what he's worth, and I think our sliding scale is good for that.
Sure, we're not making much profit at 70%, but at that point we will have allready made our profit on the way up to the 70% mark, so it's only fair that the affiliate now makes good too.

On top of that we've probably got the most transparent system posible, as you can track your affiliate code any time, all the way to the signup form, and we encurage our affiliates to do test signups at any time they like, without any need to notify us before, during or after.

I'm pretty much sure no fees are deduced since they upgraded to TopBucks Reloaded (before that they used to pay 85%)

Thanks Jace.

Only factors in the payout scale is amount and quality, as it's based only on your amount of sales and rebills (Well, and loyalty too I guess, as the longer you've promoted us, the more your rebills will have build up too)

The other factors are only support related and not something we calculate into payouts..
Generally, we will go a long way to help our affiliates with their promo needs, but naturally some tasks are taken on a case to case basis..

Like for instance, If you run a new tube site with 300 weekly visitors and with very scaled down advertising to our sites, then chances are not big that we will be submiting clips for you every day.. or if you wan't us to make a lot of work just because you are a lazy ass, but don't have any sales to show back, then we probably turn it down too.

On the other hand, if we see that you are doing some work yourself to promote us, or you got a new project that looks interesting and maybe a bit out of the box so you need something special made for it, then we are allways happy to help you..

Likewise, If you can show that you make great sales with a custom tool, then naturally we'll help you there too if we are able too..

Imo. support is there to help you make and/or increase your sales, and this is in our best interest aswell, so ofcause we will not be deducting in your payouts for helping you.
