I'm trying to find a dual drive enclosure capable of a mirror raid

Any hands on experience?

I am tired of backing up.

I want (2) 1tb drives mirrored in an enclosure. That should hold me for at least another year.

The faster Esata connection along with usb2 and firewire would be nice also.

I've never seen a dual enclosure and to handle raid it would need to have a board too. Your best bet may be to build a cheap tower with a raid capable mainboard and stick two (or four) 1tb drives in there. Wouldn't need much ram or processing power and you would be good to go for a long time.

you can find 2 drive up to 16-24 drive options depending on how much cheese ya want to drop...

most of the better ones will handle any raid... and esata as well as gigabit options.
