I'm trying to find a dual drive enclosure capable of a mirror raid
Any hands on experience?
I am tired of backing up. I want (2) 1tb drives mirrored in an enclosure. That should hold me for at least another year. The faster Esata connection along with usb2 and firewire would be nice also. |

I've never seen a dual enclosure and to handle raid it would need to have a board too. Your best bet may be to build a cheap tower with a raid capable mainboard and stick two (or four) 1tb drives in there. Wouldn't need much ram or processing power and you would be good to go for a long time.

w3rd you can find 2 drive up to 16-24 drive options depending on how much cheese ya want to drop... most of the better ones will handle any raid... and esata as well as gigabit options.
