Grrr just bought a new video card and it will not work !!!

I'm trying to set up a pc with dual monitors. I went to tiger direct this morning and got a new pci video card and a 17 inch lcd.. I put the card in, it loads windows then goes blank on me.. I can plug the lcd into the onboard card and it works, but just not with the dual head card .. anyone have this happen to them ?? Thanks

Is it PCI or PCI-e? Are you sure you board doesn't use AGP?

Zuza..

when you check your 'Display Properties', are both monitors present, or visible (in the list)?

Disable the onboard video in the bios, it may be acting as a dual display setup.

Or load windows in safe mode and install the drivers.

As has been mentioned, you'll have to disable the on board graphics processor in your BIOS first.
