My Rental Car Was Making A Really Strange Sound

So I sold my car and I'm waiting for my new truck to be finished. I have a rental car for a week. Leaving tomorrow for Vegas and running my last couple of errands late this evening. Meet Walter from Brazzers to pick up a mic for Vegas, we decided to meet at Del Taco. Grab the mic, hop in my car & head off. On the freeway I heard this faint sound that was like a little cat meowing, I though it was some lame remix and shrugged it off. Met up with a couple of friends to chat @ Chillies and hoped back in the car. Sure enough the sound was back but this time way louder. Pulled over and looked for the little guy. Thought for sure I was gonna see a kitten ripped in half or the thing was gonna jump out an eat me alive. Couldn't find the little guy. Called my friend to come and meet me. She hopped in my car and heard it too, good I wasn't going crazy. Well we pull over and fucking just tear this car apart looking for the little guy. Finally after about 45 minutes we see the little guy. He's lodged between the metal engine casing and the plastic around the wheel well. There was no way we could get him out and I would of just been an asshole to drive home with the little fucker stuck. I call Enterprise and they say they'll send a flat truck and tow the thing and deal with it in the am. Doesn't solve me having a car though but at least the guy will live. So here I am sitting on the curb giving them my info and I look over and the little fucker just crawls out of the engine, slowly but surely and the next thing I know he jumps out and splits. Well, I'm watching this and give the Enterprise people a play by play on the phone (by this time they must just think that I am crazy & on some serious drugs) he crawling out, he's almost out, he's sitting on the engine, he's gone. I look down at my phone and so were they, must of thought I was a prank caller. Anyhow, it was a pretty funny experience to say the least. Some times ya just gotta chill for a second and everything works itself out. Now its 4am, i'm not packed yet but I do have a big ass smile on my face because of this little guy. Life's a trip
