Apple Cinema Display - Anyone?

Anyone got a apple cinema display? Iam looking into it now and i wonder if its really worth it. The 30" is 1699,00EUR over here and i could get 2x 23" for half of the price.
Let me know if you have one and if its worth the money

I have two of the Dell and couldn't see paying almost 2xs the cost of the Dell for the Apple.

We do have two of the iMacs and the displays on those are very nice.

I have a 23" that I use on my graphics system and I love it. I use it with a PC and it's simply the best monitor I have ever owned!

Thanks, Mitch

Price!

There are only a couple lcd manufacturers in the world.

But essentially no none. maybe color of the frame or additional usb or card ports on the monitor but as far as quality of the actual viewing display none.

Depending on the size Dell uses the same monitor as the apple.

I should find the site that shows who uses what lcd monitor in their displays and rebrands them.

Yes get a 30" Cinema, they are simply perfect

I use mine connected to my 17" MacBookPro with extra keyboard and mouse. Not quite as big as a dual 30" setup, but still very practical.

Apple's monitors are extremely dated. It's been a very long time since they did a refresh. I'd buy a 30 inch from someone else IMHO..
