what exactly are big companies waiting for to sue tube sites that use their content without permish and tube sites that are non 2257? i havent been on gfy in a while, maybe it's already known, lmk!

I seriously doubt that you will get any serious answer from any big companies here.

We already know that aebn and juggcash run their own tube sites that is hosting full length unlicensed movies and nobody seems to give a shit about it. I don't give a shit about it myself and I'll download some movies there instead of subscribing to their sites.

If the big players really wanted to shut down the tube sites, most of them would already been shut down.

In my opinion, it just makes the industry look bad. No one is stepping up to take action and protect their content... Might as well invest in brick in mortar before you don't have money left.

There are a few suits already pending.

Now a few reasons:
1. Many sites & providers never bother to register their works with the copyright office so collecting in real damages is void.
2. Tube sites are hiding behind a safe harbor provision of the DMCA laws that many people will argue gives them immunity and is also needed. This is also being tested in courts.
3. Copyright suits are very expensive to engage in and collecting any winnings could prove difficult at best.
4. Some tubes are hiding offshore using a very thin veil to attempt to protect themselves and assets. It makes it more expensive to sue them and again collect on damages in a copyright case. Particularly if they are hiding in a country that does not honor copyright laws.

Personally that is all fine and dandy. There are other legal weapons some residents can use against tube site owners that are extremely cheap to pursue legally and best yet are not protected against by any copyright safe harbor provisions. They also allow for damages even without a copyright being registered to boot.

2257 is not valid in every country.
2257 is again hidden in a set of loopholes that were set up for companies like search engines, ISP's, and the like.
2257 has been thrown out in parts of the US.
2257 can only be enforced by law enforcement agencies.

Why does everyone talk about tube sites like they are some magical entity that just springs up out of the ground without thought or reason? Most of them are OWNED by big programs and companies, either secretly, directly or some other partnership. They have no problem stealing from customers, affiliates, other program etc.
