I currently have dual monitors but I was thinking about 3.... are there video cards that support 3 monitors or would I need to pick up 2?

looking into the same myself, im pretty sure there are cards that run 3... but yes, get a quality card...

munki posted a pic of his setup someday, it had like 3 monitors .. may be more. Not sure how many CPUs.

2 monitors per video card, have 4 setup at home and 3 at the office... you need 2 cards for sure (best bet is to make them the same care or at least the same brand)

Only two. I've heard three is a lot better though, mostly so you dont have the screen split right down the center.
