Is there anything worse in the world than finding one of these crawling on your wall?
 My basement is riddled with them in the Summer. I think I need to move. |

They eat other bugs though.
Well I guess you should kill any other bugs, find and fill any cracks, and use some dehumidifiers. That should assist in making them leave.

Silverfish look slightly similar when they are small but side by side you can tell they are very different the house centipede has many more longer legs..
Fuck didn't know House centipedes bite.. hah.. says it feels like a bee sting if the venom is able to get under your skin from the bite.. |

House centipedes are actually good for the house. The eat other insects in the like spiders, bedbugs, termites, cockroaches, silverfish and ants.
