OK, the question is my Favorite (vs. my Best).
I love all my glass, each has its particular place in the line up. But my all time favorite would probably be my Nikkor AF-S 17-35mm f/2.8. I sold the one I had when going to MF primes only. But when I migrated back to AF, this was the first lens I got again. |

I was pretty fond of my Sigma 12-24mm EF super duper wide angle lens. 12mm rectilinear on a full frame body is craaazzzyy. Unfortunately it was stolen and the replacement lens wasn't really up to scratch.
Canon's 50mm f2.5 macro is a more obscure but definitely underrated lens... super sharp... My last purchase was the 70-200mm f4 L IS. I chose that over the f2.8 because of the reduction in bulk/weight, and the highly rated optics of the newer design. Next thing I want to play with is a Sigma 8mm 180 degree fisheye, mmmmm |
