European Webmasters - how do you pay your taxes?
Here's a question for european webmasters, that actually pay taxes - how do you do it?
I was thinking about setting up a company and pay all the taxex, but I don't get any invoices, I don't send any invoices so there's nothing on paper. So how do you document your income? |

So you just money to people and people send it to you?
Your hosting company doesn't send you bill or a receipt? Your sponsors don't tell you how much they paid you or when? Pretty much every company or business I deal with sends me something, mightn't be a straight up invoice, but it will do for my accounts. Good luck telling the taxman that you don't get or receive any invoices so thats why you don't pay taxes. I'm sure they'll say 'OK no preoblem, just send us some money whenever you can"!

Hey I actually DO want to pay my taxes!
I haven't spoken to an accountant yet, I just wanted to gather some knowledge. So you don't need any paper to show your taxman where did the income come from, but just pay the tax on what cam to your account, am I right? |

Anyone and everyone that bills you is legally required in their jurisdiction to supply invoices. Sometimes you have to ask for them, or arrange for some delivery method, but they are available.
You're responsible for invoicing anyone that pays you. Normally you get special paper for this. Even if you don't, you still have to. You can't force people to pick them up, but you must have them available. |

Print out the receipts from your sponsors. Or if you do a lot of buisness direct with people its all stored in paypal etc so just print those out, give it all to your accountant.

I get papers from my bank when I get a wire transfer. I give them to my accountant.
As for epassporte and Paypal, I just print out the statements.
