It looks like Randy Couture is back in the UFC and fighting Brock Lesnar in November

http://www.sportsline.com/mmaboxing/story/10957809

I still would prefer to see him fighting Fedor but I doubt Dana White is ever going to cave to Fedor's financial demands. It's nice to see both sides decided to eat a bit of crow and work things out, but as much as I dig Brock Lesnar this is a bit too much, too soon...

yea, giving him a shot at Randy that fast... you'd think they'd milk the Lesnar promo a bit more first with at least 1 more HVWT fight.

If Lesnar pulls this off, it is HUGE. Randy is getting old, but he has got skills, and I am pretty positive he's gonna take it with a more technical fight.

Weak. I was really hoping he'd be able to fight Fedor within a year.

This is a bad match up for Randy. He had trouble with much bigger guys earlier in his career, and despite defeating the lumbering giant Tim Sylvia for the Heavyweight championship, Randy will be facing a much bigger man who is also for once as good or better of a wrestler as he is. I predict Brock by decision since he isn't that good of a finisher.

I love Randy, but Brock is a monster. He just fought in one of the matches on the last card. It will be epic, for sure!

PS - Check out the videos and news about it here: http://www.ufc.com

This is another Dana White masterpiece. It is a win/win for him. Randy wins and one of the alltime greatest UFC champs retires the reigning champ in the UFC, people will love it. On the other hand, his new toy Lesnar wins, and it is a huge credit to his name. His new prodigy in the heavyweight division annihilates Randy Couture, and they can repeat this fact 1000x for every fight he has for the next year. They will hype up Lesnar like a son of a bitch. Which is far enough, the guy has a future in the sport. I'm confident he will be the heavyweight champion one way or another.

yup. the ufc can't lose on this one.

even if brock loses and randy retires, its not like losing to randy couture is something to be ashamed of.
