ever noticed when you eat a big meal that is heavy on the protein, like I just had a steak with very little else... one whole wheat tortilla, a jalapeno and half a bell pepper, and even though it was alot of food, it is like my body is telling me to go out and get some sugar of some sort.... wonder why that is

I might just drive to Carls and get a milkshake or something, but I probably shouldn't and see how I feel when I wake up tomorrow

when you're body is craving something, there is most likely an ingredient/nutrient that your body lacks and knows it can get it in that food. So maybe your body is low on sugar after eating all that protein and it knows it can get the sugar from a shake, so now you're craving a shake.

It's not the shake you crave, but all the wonderful nutrition that comes in a shake.
