Here's the letter I wrote to my mom. Should I give it to her?

Mom,

I am tired of trying to keep on skirting issues with you. I should have written this letter or told you a long time ago.

I have problems with addiction. It's kicking my ass today. I tried AA. I stopped alcohol, but I picked up a more expensive, legal addiction.

I don't have any problems with hard drugs. I smoke pot, tobacco, drink alcohol. I should probably give up caffeine too.

I don't want to talk about my views on drugs. That isn't the point. The point is I have a medical problem.

I can't go to my employer. He does not understand the problem of drug addiction, and would fire me. I don't know that for a fact, but I'm 95% sure.

AA didn't work, a social worker didn't help. Group therapy is not likely to either. I think I need help serious psychological help for deep seated problems. Probably stemming from events in my childhood. Tracie needs to be willing to go with me if we are going to stay together.

I do believe I am blessed genetically with great intelligence. I want to do a lot of great things to help others, and I'm not going to let anything stand in my way.

I don't think problems may be as serious as they appear.

I really should be a writer.

I got an even better idea, two actually. I better write them both down before I forget.

1. Put cameras in your house. Eventually you will forget they are there. You will probably have some awesome shit to sell to reality TV shows eventually. Or produce it, even better.

2. See, now I forgot the second idea. Oh yes, I'm going to T.R. video, and talk to a guy up there about producing some content. I've got something good boiling... can't give my best ideas away
