Who watched The Fall?

I watched it last night and honestly cant decide whether I liked it or not. LOL

There were great visuals but the dialouge was sometimes annoyingly hard to understand and Im not entirely sure I understood everything. It probably didnt hurt that I had text messages coming in every five minutes which was distracting.

Is it worth watching again with no distractions or should I not bother?

I watched it a couple weeks ago and I kinda feel it was all visuals, pretty disappointing. The story started off awesome but slowly it wore off and by the end I was getting bored and just waiting for the next pretty scene to stare at. At times the acting was just bad too. I don't really think watching it again will make you like it more

I was just curious if it was one of those movies that you have to watch with absolutely no distractions like Memento. Hated that the first time I watched it with a group of people. Watched it again alone and ended up loving it!

I'll pretty much watch anything Tarsem directs. His visuals are amazing. I first saw his work in The Cell. As for the movie itself, well it was just plain awful. How smart is it to cast a little girl with a heavy accent in a major role. I had to turn on the subtitles. Plus the story was rather dull. I'd be interested to see his next project.

Yeah same thing happened to me when I first watched Memento, I kept falling asleep. Then I watched it a couple days later awake and focused on it and it was amazing

I just watched the Blu Ray yesterday. I was amazed at not only the visuals, but how much that stupid suicide story was drawing me in.

The little girl was pretty amazing. It was almost like she didn't know she was in movie, she was so natural. Usually having a small child in flick is a pretty delicate situation, because they can fuck up everything. Not only did she not fuck it up, but was one of the highlights of the whole experience.

It worked for me in a big way.

I didnt even realize it was the same director as the Cell and even remarked that the visuals reminded me of it.

I actually considered turning on the subtitles but until I get my new contacts it would have been just a exercise in frustration.

If you don't have a BluRay player yet, you don't know what you're missing with visual flicks like this one. You'll be blown away.
