I think this election did succeed in one thing: getting people out to vote for the first time.

I have a lot of friends who haven't voted in years and some hadn't even registered until this election. These friends have been on both sides of the vote as well.

How many here are first time voters or first time in a long time voters this election?

ive voted in every election since i could vote. but i know many who have never voted, including older people in my family
