A lot of text and a great title, bolding the title seems to help, and also picking multiple categories, nice pictures (if it's tangible)

Just pay for all the little 'extras' it asks if you want to help your listing.

It's usually always worth paying a bit more to list it...

put low or free shipping in capital letters in the title, buyers always wary of getting screwed over on shipping, seeing free shipping will get much more traffic and bidders that can offset loss u take on by offering free shipping always works for me and I'm basically a mass seller

Getting views and getting bids are 2 different things, you can have a product with 5000 views and 0 bids and the same product with 200 views and 15 bids.

for traffic title is the most important thing and most screw that up, your only concern will be what would someone type in if they would be searching for your product, and the easiest way to do that is to find someone that sold or is selling what you have and check the amount of views they have and investigate their title.

If thats not possible think of what someone other than you would type in if you where looking for that product, people search all types of ways, most people if they want to sell a gold presidential rolex with diamonds on the dial and bank on ebay will write something like:

Like new rolex low reserve free shipping must see

that will get you little hits vs.

Rolex Mens Presidential Watch Diamonds on dial and band

That title will get the people who simply typed in presidential watch, or rolex diamonds, or mens diamond watch etc.

Remember ebay gets good google traffic too if your title is good.

It all sounds like common sense but most fuck up their title, if you ever went thru your website logs youd agree people have a funny way of typing shit into search engines and the same applies to ebay search.

As far as getting bids and people emailing you about your product one of the most important things are a ton of clear solid pictures and even better a video of the product, you also want to avoid becoming a page people bookmark vs bid on, if you have a 10 day listing youll get a million watchers and people bookmarking you, you want 3-5 day listings and if it dont sell relist 3-5 days again, start bidding low and if possible dont use reserve (remember most action will happen in the last 12-24 hours of your listing) give people an easy way to ask questions like a number to call, you want to maximize every single hit your auction gets.

Pay for the featured items option which will get you bundles more exposure particularly if you are selling something which many other sellers are offering also. Also if it`s something that generates revenue, show some numbers as ebayers love seeing screenshots and $ details.
