Can my dog drink the water if I take him into Baja or do I have to bring water for him?

Interesting question. Dogs can eat raw meat. I'd think they have stronger stomachs. However, ever switch dog food on a dog, he'll liquid shit for like 2 days.

Why are you going to Baja? Taking the Sons Of Anarchy show on the road huh?

I think their saliva kills bacteria, but, with water it may dilute it, so that's a pretty interesting question for sure.

I heard, that a dog's saliva is so strong that it can kill athlete's foot. I dunno, might just be a wives tale. I'm nowhere near athletic status so I wouldn't know.

I lived in baja for 3.5 years and my dogs drank both botteled and faucet water with no issues. Does not mean it will be the same for you.

a 5 gallon container is 70 cents to refill or about. If you have one take it. If not the container is about 4$.

That should do you just fine.

You're turning your dog into a reverse border jumper. Start slowly giving him Tequila in his drinking bowl. That's what I tried with my dog, but for some reason he ran around the room in circles and dropped dead. Maybe I should have upgraded to Patron.
