I really hope they bounce back and play well against the Cowboys... plus it would be great to see the Cowboys loose and TO start his late season "our QB sucks" rants on sports center.

It will depend which team shows up on both sides of the ball. If the Giants play like they did against the Eagles then Dallas will win. If Dallas plays like they did when Brad Johnson played then it will be another blow out. IMO the cowboys D looked great against Pit and they had the number 1 d in the league the cowboys just didn't finish them off. Either way I hope the Cowboys win since I am a fan so.... GIANTS (that means you Caz, Johny V, Michael Klein) and any other Giant fans..... You too FOREST

True it depends on which team shows up on both sides of the ball. If history is anything this year the giants come back from a loss with a vengeance. Dallas' D did play well on sunday but it was their offense that lost it for them. Turning over the ball that many times how can u win. If they had been playing a team with a better offense (like the giants) the final would have been a much bigger spread. Am I calling for a blow out? Definatly not. Dallas has a good team no doubt about that. But with Jones calling barber a pussy this week and TO whinning about everything that will not help dallas' chances.

Agreed the Giants would have won by more...but maybe our offense plays a little better and doesn't just throw it away but Jerry calling Marion a puss has Al Davis written all over it. Good luck either way and at least go represent the NFC east!! If we don't or cant

The Cowboys D looked great against the Steeler's cuz the Steeler's have the 26th ranked overall offense. 'Didn't finish' is a euphemism for choking and that's what Dallas did. When the heat got turned up, Romo did what he did all game and coughed the ball up to a superior opponent. I would expect to see more from NY.

BTW - Hixon makes that catch Giants beat Philly

I hoping for a Giants win, although I think Dallas has more to lose and will play harder.

If Dallas loses the Eagles might have a shot at a wildcard spot.

Hixon smixon if you dont block the field goal you got a mercy touchdown late they would have shut you out.. if Crayton catches the ball the cowboys go to the superbowl . We will have to wait and see. Any one care to bet on you need to wear a Dallas jersey and post your pic on GFY? MK?(Michael Klein)

yeah but that still doesnt make how they played acceptable. If hixon had caught that ball it may have been a 21-20 game instead of a 20-14 game

one thing to take note at

every game this year that the giants were underdogs they have won.

there have been 3 or 4

If the Giants can get their shit together and contain the cowgirls' pass rush, AND find a way to frustrate TO AND get in a few blazing hard sacks on Romo... they should win.

Whether they need the win or not shouldn't enter into it, they need to crush Dallas in this game if only for effect.

Giants by 5.

Bahahahahaha

blocking the field goal is Part of the game. =) and Hixon really has stepped up to fill some of plax's shoes. Mercy touchdown? WTF is that. if it was a mercy the dallas D would have just sat on the bench ;)

I would take that bet but I dont bet on my team.

They NEED the win

remember that last game of the season last year against NE. They giants gained nothing if they won tha game. yet they came out to PLAY! even though they lost they played their fucking hearts out and that performance is what won them the playoffs and superbowl

so they have plenty to play for. They WANT to go in #1 in the NFC.

They have a lot to play for. People forget that the G-Men, the reigning champs, were picked to finished 3rd in the division at the beginning of the season. They lost Strahan, Wilson during the off season and I think that the NFL Talking Heads didn't give them the proper respect they deserve. This put a HUGE chip on their shoulder. They have been dominating this year. They play well most of the time. Sundays game is just another cog in what I think is their bigger plan. Back to back SB and I think they can do it.

If them beating Dallas means that the cowgirls don't make the playoffs then it's worth the effort to nail the win. Cowgirls are a tad overrated, and a lot of their fans are way too arrogant for their own good. You'd think they were a 14-0 club the way some fans post.

very true. No one gave them a chance last year going into the playoffs no one gave them a chance this year.

and dont forget they also lost Osi. loosing Strahan AND Osi was a major hurdle to over come but they have done it.

Let's be realistic. If they play to their potential which they never seem to they dwarf the giants but to be real we have underachieved for quite some time and I am getting quite pissed off not to win even a play off game. I am a die hard fan but we need to play to the level we are capable of or we wont even make the playoffs. I mean off side time after time Flozel Adams is a pro bowler and has more false start then anyone. We tried to call time out against the steelers because why? We had 12 men on the field I mean wtf. Jerry needs to hold Wade more accountable and let them know its shit or get off the pot. If the giants win we are done plain and simple. If we win watch out we could get a head of steam and roll over all comers. We will just have to wait and see but please by all means continue the shit talking because I don't own the team so that is all I have.

If we win watch out we could get a head of steam and roll over all comers. We will just have to wait and see but please by all means continue the shit talking because I don't own the team so that is all I have.
Now Common man. Dwarf? LOL dallas may Dwarf the Rams or the 49'ers or even the Lions but definatly not the super bowl champions.

but you can keep dreaming

Yeah, right. If Dallas fans were pets Bob Barker would be asking us to spay or neuter you.

Agreed, no one saw them coming last year until it was too late.

But I disagree with that. LOTS of people not only think they can/will win but many EXPECT them to win. The difference is most Giants fans aren't yet as overconfident and arrogant as those of the cowgirls. Last year it was the annoying NE fans who we all had to put up with, now it's Dallas. The thing of it is they haven't even done anything yet that warrants that kind of arrogance. And when the cowgirls fail there are going to be lot of them ripe for ridicule.

I mean really, they can't expect to post "Cowboys will win, all other teams suck" over and over and then when they choke not expect some of us laughing and pointing at them. Can they? :D

I've been wondering when someone would make that point. The Giants don't seem to be a team of just a few stars, and when they lose one of them the whole team unravels. Rather they are a cohesive unit that is well-coached, which means they will have to lose a lot more than just a few marquee players in order to derail their season.

I don't know if they'll win it all but they do have a shot. Anyone who says otherwise is just fooling themselves.

i was talking in the beginning of the year. they were expected to be 8-8 or so. NOW everyone expects them to win because they have proven they are a all around team

and I expect them to win every sunday. But then again Im a fan ;)

the giants are a TEAM in every sense of the word. When one falls someone steps up to fill his place. We are not a team of "stars" like the cowboys or other teams. They are a team of Players and Teammates.

This is the key to their success

Actually I recall seeing several post from Giants fans back at the beginning of this season saying they would repeat. Not tons mind you, but several.

Subnote: When I refer to "arrogant Dallas fans" I'm of course talking about the more shall we say "outspoken" ones on the boards. They know who they are. The rest of you who are more sensible should take no offense because none was intended.

That is all.
