Rammstein is in LA cutting a new album for Summer 2009 release and plan to back it up with a tour in the Fall 2009. Good news for those of us who have been waiting.

The greatest metal show I've ever seen was a RAMMSTEIN concert, back in '98 or so. Flame throwers, Lindemann set on fire, and rockets that exploded into fireworks over the crowd were just the icing on that sick live sound they had.

Granted, we traveled from Germany to Wells, Austria because back then Austria's rules about what you can and can't do during a show were a lot less strict. From what I understand Rammstein doesn't get to do some of their more extreme fire gimmicks in certain States.

and it makes me happy to see they are working on a new album, i've been following them since 1994 or so. for a while i met the keyboarder quite often since we were after the same girl

Whew. I have to admit, I was bummed out when I had heard that he left a few months back.
