I'd always wondered how cartoons of characters getting it on was legal (underage, incest, etc) - seems there's recently been a judgement against it in AU:

I've never thought this content was appropriate, but getting a CP conviction for having it on your PC? Ow. I bet half the people who review for TGPs have it in their cache...

McEwan was convicted of possessing child pornography and using his computer to access child pornography in February after his computer was found to contain pictures of Bart, Lisa and Maggie Simpson having sex with one another.

this is no surprise yo .... there are heaps of simpsons sextoons all over the net so this will put a lot of people and their pc's in the same boat ...... I wouldn't be surprised to see people getting busted for making jokes ... maybe even comedians who mention a reference to underage sex as many comedians have.

also anyone who has little johnny jokes on their pc could be next ...

..does seem hugely hypocritical when (as the article mentions) - in The Simposons Movie itself, Bart was 'nude', and that was deemed fine. What gives? :|

I thought that the bart/lisa cartoon was just funny, But some of the "cartoon porn" I've seen is downright disgusting and if it were shot with people who were the age that the toons were supposed to be, someone would be rotting in jail even after hell froze over.

It's important not to trample peoples rights but at the same time, I know what i'm looking at. Kudos to the Aussies for calling this one out. This is the ONE time I will back censorhip.

I must be tired.
