Tech Savy Peeps I need your help Please......
I have a feeling something is not right with my internet conection. It is almost like somebody is using our conection. We are on cable broadband and when we are not active on the net our lights on the modem go crazy. Our conection is also very very slow. Well I had A look at my active connections on my firewall and this program called svchost.exe which is coming from c:\windows\system32\ is continually accessing hundreds of diff IPs I have tried to delete the .exe file but every time I reload the pc it apears back in the folder. I also cannot block it with my firewall. Anybody have any Ideas as to what the hell it is...

there is a certain virus that 'cloaks' itself as svchost.exe - There is a legit file and a bunk file - I had a machine that had 6 svchost.exe files running...
the 'virus' isnt necessarily harmful - but id get rid of it if you can manage to free of processing space... just make sure you know which is which
