Yes but what you have to look at is what if the US had gone in and stole part of Mexico 50 years ago and forced all the Mexicans living on that land to leave. Would it mean they wouldn't have a right to fight to get it back?

If Mexico came in and took half of Cali would you not expect us to fight to get it back? Israel wasn't even a nation 100 years ago. It was created after WW2 to give the Jewish people a homeland. The land was taken from the Palestinians and they were forced to leave.

Great write up but I don't think the Israelis ever were under British control.... The Brits had the mandate on Palestine originally and reluctanly gave it up to create the Israeli state after us pressure (what's new!)
