m2ts to wmv rendering
transferring 18 min. of video from hi def .m2ts files to 3000 kb/s wmv and am 2 hours into the conversion.
what computer do I need to make this happen in about 15 min.? |

Get a mac pro with 4 or more gigs of ram.
If you're not ready to run Mac software yet (and I wasn't at the time) also get BootCamp and boot into Windows. So you'll be using 8 cores to render with. When you're ready... switch to MAC.
