It's a cliche what i'm gonna tell you know but it simply is like that.

You have no chance of doing something new anymore by opening a new paysite with mainstream porn. You would be fucked starting a new site which you spent 50k on to 20 scenes. Know what i mean.
So what you have to do is think old school. What can you start, spend money, which won't end up all over the place for free?

There is still a huge % of people who don't care about mainstream porn. Mainstream videos which are found for free all over the place.
Get amateur stuff. Mainly pics and as an extra vids. How many amateur content tubes do you see? None? How many voyeur content tubes do you see? How many niches tubes?
Think in that direction. It as old as Jesus Christ but it still sells. Plus it will rebill. The people who sign up for shit like that are really into it. They will stay with you.
Most programs now have a rebilling average of 0.1. Why? They don't update because their money comes from xsells and upsells and the content they have is mainstream shit which any surfer can find all over the place. Just stop going that route. Think pics. Think amateur.

You always have to sharpen your thumbs unless you run a glamour tgp where you actually smooth out the pics.
Make your thumb stand out by letting the colours come out and making white look like white.
And obviously crop the picture in a way to reflect the niche you're using it for.
